Calling All Cleaners in Taupō
We’re looking for a reliable Cleaning Star to join the City Cleaning team in Taupō.
This role is perfect if you’re looking for consistent part-time morning hours, enjoy working independently, and take pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
Role Snapshot

Central Taupō, Waikato
Job Type:
Part-time (Permanent)
Hours:
Approx. 10 hours per week
Shifts:
Monday to Friday, approximately 10:00am – 12:00pm
Pay:
$28.95 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day cleaning duties will include (but aren’t limited to):
Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
Wiping down surfaces
Cleaning restrooms and removing rubbish
Polishing furniture
Operating basic cleaning equipment
You’ll be working to a set schedule and maintaining high cleaning standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
To be living in New Zealand and legally entitled to work
(NZ citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
A clean police record
Previous cleaning experience (an advantage, but not essential)
A smartphone
Reliable transport
To be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
The ability to work independently and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail
A positive, respectful attitude and clear communication skills
