Our Partnerships

Partnerships that make a real difference

At City Cleaning, our work goes beyond maintaining workplaces.

Every day, we operate in environments where people rely on safety, hygiene, and consistency — and we see first-hand how much those things matter.

That’s why we choose to support organisations doing meaningful work in our communities. Not for visibility, but because strong communities rely on the people and services behind the scenes.

Supporting families with Nurturing Families

We’re proud to partner with Nurturing Families, supporting the vital work they do for families and children across Aotearoa.

Their team operates at scale, providing essential items to families in need and ensuring those items are safe, clean, and ready to use. Behind that is a significant operational effort, from warehouse management through to the checking and handling of donated goods.

Our role is to support that work in practical ways.

That includes helping maintain clean, safe warehouse environments, supporting the handling of donated items, and contributing to the ongoing costs that keep their services running day to day.

It’s not always visible, but it matters.

Over time, this partnership has grown into something more than just support. It’s a relationship built on trust, shared values, and a commitment to making a real difference where it’s needed most.

What this partnership supports:

  • Clean, safe warehouse environments

  • Handling and preparation of donated goods

  • Ongoing operational support behind the scenes

Backing essential services with Wellington Free Ambulance

Wellington Free Ambulance plays a critical role in keeping our communities safe, providing emergency and urgent medical services across Greater Wellington and the Wairarapa.

We’re proud to support an organisation that is there for people when they need it most.

As part of the Wellington Free Ambulance Business Collective, we contribute to the Support Crew — helping fund their Emergency Ambulance Service. We’re also proud to support Wellington Free Ambulance through the work we do behind the scenes, helping maintain clean, safe environments across their corporate offices and ambulance depots throughout the region.

This is the team responding to around 56,000 medical emergencies every year. That’s roughly 153 callouts a day across our region.

Behind the scenes, their fleet travels over 2.5 million kilometres each year to reach people quickly, wherever they are.

Unlike many services, Wellington Free Ambulance relies heavily on community support. Each year, they need to raise at least $8.5 million to keep emergency ambulance services free for everyone in Greater Wellington and the Wairarapa.

It’s an essential service that operates 24/7, 365 days a year — and one that depends on the right equipment, resources, and people to be ready at any moment.

This partnership reflects what matters to us. Showing up. Supporting our communities. And backing the services that keep people safe.

Investing in local futures with Life Education Trust Kāpiti Horowhenua

We’re also proud to support Life Education Trust Kāpiti Horowhenua, who visit over 5,000 children from more than 30 local schools each year.

Through engaging, practical programmes, they help young people build confidence, understand their wellbeing, and make positive choices for their future.

Supporting initiatives like this aligns closely with our belief that strong communities are built early — through education, guidance, and access to the right support.

It’s about helping create environments where the next generation can thrive.

Why partnerships matter to us

For us, partnerships aren’t about ticking a box or adding logos to a page.

They’re about supporting organisations doing meaningful work, contributing in ways that are practical and useful, and aligning with people who care about outcomes.

Because at the end of the day, clean, safe environments are just one part of a much bigger picture.

And we’re proud to play our part in it.
